Night Doula Care
Night doula care through Multiples of an Awesome Love consists of effective communication, the provision of knowledge, and assistance with feeding, bathing, dressing, diapering, cord and circumcision care, preparation of formula/bottles and/or breastfeeding, and the maintenance/cleanliness of the baby's room. If needed, more specialized care related to the needs of one or more medically fragile infants will be provided.
Why a Night Doula?
The arrival of your newborn(s) is a blessing and joy indeed. However, both mental and physical fatigue after giving birth can be extremely draining and taxing due to sleep deprivation and uncertainty in the care of your newborn(s). A doula will help ameliorate the sense of exhaustion, provide encouragement, and extend an experienced helping hand.
